Attik Update - Web Report Editor & Native Report Rollout, Client Quote Scheduling

Summary

  • Overview of Attik Report Writer features

  • Clients can edit requested services and pick their own appointment time when accepting a quote online, with your team notified by email when they do.

  • Worklists got more flexible: choose exactly which required-info fields show as columns, and hide outdated jobs from the default lists without deleting anything.

  • Payroll hours are easier to review (session-by-session detail, searchable filters, an approval step for edits) and employees can now self-edit their own hours

New Features

Attik Report Writer Update

Building the foundation for the implementation of Attik’s Report Writer. The following features have been built into the web version of Attik in preparation for this new feature. All report writer features are permission gated and still in the early phases.

  • Web Report Editor for inspection reports — office staff can now open and edit a report in the browser (comments, defect levels, overview, cover photo) without the mobile app

  • Section overview content in report templates — admins can add section-level overview narrative and SOP text when building a template

  • Section overview details visible in the client report — client-facing report view now shows each section’s overview narrative, SOPs, and related content

  • Attach a one-off report template to any job — staff can manually attach any published template to a single job, even if it wasn’t auto-assigned

  • Manager-defined completion criteria for templates — managers can define what a finished report should include per template, feeding the completion checklist

  • Web editor surfaces unconfirmed mobile comments — web editor now shows mobile-captured comments inspectors haven’t finished confirming, in a dedicated outline

  • Add or remove optional sections in the web editor — web editor now supports adding/removing optional outline sections directly

  • PDF exports include section overview content — PDF exports now include each section’s overview narrative, SOPs, and photos

  • Report template permissions clarified — template view/edit access now more clearly follows role, requires the newer report format enabled

  • Report overview subsections no longer disappear — overview subsections that should always stay part of the report no longer get filtered out on publish/view

  • Comments no longer bleed between reports on the same job — each report’s comments, photos, and Styles & Materials values now stay scoped to that report

  • Inspectors and clients can now build a repair list and request repair quotes (QuickFix, Thumbtack, Pipeliners) directly from the newer Attik-native report, matching what was already available on the older report view.

Choose which fields show as worklist columns

What changed: Custom and default worklists can now show specific required-info fields as their own columns, with blank fields clearly marked, so status can be scanned without opening each row.

Where to find it: Work → open a worklist → column settings

Hide old jobs from the default worklists

What changed: Jobs can now be excluded from any of the six default worklists (Open Quotes, Not Published, Agreements Not Signed, Unconfirmed Orders, Not Paid, Open Invoices) without deleting anything, and restored later — matching what custom worklists already supported. This includes beign able to display only Attik created jobs.

Where to find it: Work → any default worklist → row menu → Exclude

Export adoption data to a spreadsheet

What changed: The adoption dashboard now has a button to export ProPair/Thumbtack adoption data as a CSV, with dates shown in each company’s local time.

Where to find it: PIR Dashboard → Export CSV

See adoption by individual inspector

What changed: The adoption dashboard now breaks repair-list (ProPair) adoption down by inspector, not just company-wide.

Where to find it: PIR Dashboard → Inspector breakdown

Payroll hours: session detail, searchable filter, self-service edits

What changed: Payroll hour rows now show each clock-in/out session with its duration, the employee filter is now searchable, and employees can edit their own day’s hours from the Time Clock widget with built-in limits (no negative hours, no more than 24/day) and expandable history.

Where to find it: Payroll → Adjustment Management; Dashboard → Time Clock

Approval step for payroll hour edits

What changed: Hour adjustments can now be routed for approval or rejection instead of applying immediately, with pending edits clearly flagged until resolved.

Where to find it: Payroll → Adjustment Management → pending edits

Edit services and pick a time slot in the quote portal

What changed: Clients can now edit requested services directly in their quote portal and pick a scheduling time slot as part of accepting a quote; your team gets an email alert with a direct link whenever a client edits their quote.

Where to find it: Client portal → Quote

Super users can manage every company instance

What changed: Attik super-user admins can now add and manage user memberships across any company instance without first needing an active membership there.

Where to find it: Instance Management

Setup: Requires Attik super-user admin role.

Improvements

Clearer failure details when sending payroll to UKG

What changed: When a UKG payroll send fails validation, the error now shows which employees failed and why, instead of a generic error message.

Where to find it: Payroll → Send to UKG

Bug Fixes

Work order totals now update immediately

What changed: Adding or removing a service on a work order now updates the Total/Payments/Balance summary right away, instead of staying stale until the page was refreshed — which previously led some schedulers to manually (and incorrectly) override the price.

Where to find it: Workorder → Services & Payments

Applies to: Existing and future workorders

Spectora inspector sync no longer leaves duplicates or the wrong primary

What changed: After reassigning an inspector and syncing to Spectora, the synced order now reliably shows only the correct inspector(s) with the same person marked primary as in Attik — this previously required a second manual sync about one in five times and could cause the wrong inspector’s info to prefill on certain report forms.

Where to find it: No new screen — takes effect automatically on inspector reassignment.

Applies to: Existing and future events

Invoice PDFs show the refund date

What changed: Refund rows on invoice PDFs now show the date the refund was created, not just the amount.

Where to find it: Invoice → Export/View PDF

Applies to: Existing and future records

Corrected payment-restoration calculation after refunds

What changed: Restored payment balances now use the synced running total instead of re-adding individual payments, fixing cases where refunds and partial payments produced an incorrect restored balance.

Where to find it: No new screen — takes effect automatically on payment and refund processing.

Applies to: Existing and future records

Office-only jobs no longer inflate payroll mileage

What changed: Automatic payroll mileage calculations now exclude jobs with no field visit, so mileage totals reflect actual driving only.

Where to find it: No new screen — takes effect automatically on payroll runs.

Applies to: Future records only

Inspection contacts sort consistently

What changed: Contacts listed on an inspection now sort in a consistent role-based order.

Where to find it: Workorder → Contacts

Applies to: Existing and future records

Post-inspection rollup reliability fix

What changed: Post-inspection rollup merges are now protected against simultaneous updates, preventing rare duplicate or incorrect merges.

Where to find it: No new screen — takes effect automatically.

Applies to: Unclear from release evidence
