Improve search behavior and filtering

Users reported several issues and feature gaps in search:

• Results should surface the most current job at the top.
• When searching by a person's name and scrolling to the name section, the search disappears.
• The search sometimes briefly flashes.
• Search shortcuts like past, future, today, tomorrow, and yesterday would be helpful.
