<p>From Apr 1, 2026 Attik Review. In legacy systems, search could fail when <strong>formatted vs unformatted</strong> phone numbers did not match (dashes, parens, etc.), causing missed duplicates and missed lookups.</p>

<p>When searching by phone, <strong>match on normalized digits</strong> regardless of punctuation/formatting entered or stored.</p>
