Paid or signed jobs need a way to move into an awaiting-reschedule state without canceling the order and rebuilding it.
The team discussed jobs where payment had already been collected or agreements had already been signed, but the customer needed to reschedule without a new date yet. The current workaround is to cancel the original order and create a new one, then manually mark the replacement order paid. They called out that this is not ideal because it separates payment from the correct order, can create refund risk if the customer never reschedules, and forces extra work around agreements and order rebuilds. They discussed options such as a new on-hold or awaiting-reschedule status, or a controlled path back to an unscheduled state that preserves the original order context. A new status would help prevent actions from triggering on return to unconfirmed status. A work list condition would also need to be created for this new status.
